No. It only reads public pages, the same way a browser or search engine does: the homepage, robots.txt, the sitemap and up to three pages linked from the homepage. It never logs in, submits a form or visits checkout, account or login pages.

Why are some categories not scored?

Search rankings, AI answers, local listings, backlinks, reviews and competitor position cannot be read from your own website. Measuring them means paid data, so the free scan shows them as measured in the trial rather than inventing a number.

What happens to the address I enter?

It is used to run the scan. The result is kept in server memory for 30 minutes so a repeat scan of the same domain does not fetch your site again, then discarded. Our server log records the domain scanned and whether the scan worked, not who asked. We do not ask for an email and nothing is added to a mailing list.
