How BOOSTD works: observe, prioritise, execute, measure, learn
BOOSTD runs one loop, all the time. It reads how your business shows up in search, maps and AI answers, decides what is worth doing, does the safe work, checks it worked and learns from the result. Every change passes the same checks first, and anything important waits for you.
BOOSTD is in early access. The self-serve Growth Scan, trial and plans open in stages. Until then, our team runs the same work with you, and every page says which is which. The person-run audit is open now.

BOOSTD does not work in a monthly batch. It runs the same five steps continuously, and most days most of them find nothing that needs doing, which is the correct result when nothing is wrong.
Observe
BOOSTD reads how your business shows up: your pages and how they perform, where you rank on Google and on the map, what AI assistants say when asked about businesses like yours, and your reviews. Connected accounts such as Search Console and Analytics add what only you can see. Each reading carries the date it was taken.

Prioritise
Everything it finds becomes a candidate, and candidates are ranked by expected impact, how confident BOOSTD is, the effort involved and the services and markets you told it matter most. Discovery is broad on purpose; what gets done is decided by value and by your plan, not by what is easiest to produce.

Execute
The highest-value work that your plan includes is either done or prepared for you, depending on your automation mode and how risky the change is. Every change passes the same checks first, described further down this page. Nothing on a protected page is touched without you.

Measure
After a change ships, BOOSTD first checks that it landed as intended: the page loads, the change is there, nothing else broke. Then, over the following weeks, it compares what happened against what was happening before, so a change is judged on evidence rather than on the fact that it was made.

Learn
What worked on your site, and what did not, changes what gets prioritised next. A kind of change that keeps paying off moves up; one that keeps doing nothing moves down. The loop then starts again with a slightly better idea of what your business responds to.

Getting started
From the Free Growth Scan to the end of your trial
The scan is free and quick. The trial is where the deep work happens, and for its whole seven days BOOSTD does not change your website.
Run the Free Growth Scan
You enter your website, and optionally your business and market. The scan is deliberately light: it samples pages rather than crawling the whole site and samples AI answers rather than claiming to know what every assistant says. It is labelled that way, with the date the data was collected, and it needs no card and no account connections.
You get: An indicative Growth Score, category scores and three to ten findings that matter
Choose a plan and start the 7-day trial
BOOSTD suggests a plan from what the scan found, with the reason in plain words, and you are free to choose another. You confirm your business, goals, markets and main services in a short guided conversation, not a long form. Then you connect the accounts you are happy to connect. None of them is required to begin.
You get: A confirmed business profile and the plan you intend to use
Days 1 to 7: the deep audit, with no website changes
The trial runs the full analysis: a deeper crawl, keyword and market research, competitors, an AI visibility sample, authority, local and content baselines, trust signals and a conversion review. BOOSTD shows you the changes it would make as a preview. It does not edit your site, reach out to anyone or message your customers.

When the trial converts
Your plan’s capacity and monthly budgets switch on, you confirm the automation mode you want, and the first eligible work begins, in priority order and under the checks below. If you stop before the trial ends, there is nothing to reverse, because nothing on your website was touched.

What the 7-day trial does, and what it never does
The trial is read-only for your website. This is a rule of the trial itself, not a setting you have to remember to switch on.

Automation modes
Three automation modes, and you can change between them at any time
The mode decides how much BOOSTD does without asking. It never decides whether the protected pages are protected: in every mode, they are.

The checks
Every change passes the same checks, in the same order
Whatever the mode, a change that costs money or touches something outside BOOSTD goes through these steps. If any step says no, the change stops there and you can see why.
Is it in your plan?
BOOSTD checks the work is included in your plan and that there is capacity left for it. If it is not, the opportunity is still shown to you, with what it would take, but it does not run.
Is there budget for it?
The expected cost is estimated and reserved before the work starts, so two jobs running at once cannot overspend between them. Anything that would cross a limit stops, and unused reservation is released afterwards.
How risky is it?
Each change is rated on how easy it is to reverse, how many pages it touches, whether customers will see it, and whether it goes near revenue, checkout, legal wording or your search indexing.
Do your rules allow it?
Your own rules apply next, written in plain language: never change the logo, do not touch prices, keep these disclaimers, nothing during the sale. BOOSTD turns them into checks it cannot skip.
Does it need your approval?
Risk and your mode together decide whether the change runs or comes to you. Critical actions, and anything on a protected page, always come to you, with the evidence and a before-and-after view.
Do it, check it, undo it if needed
The change is made through the connection to your site, then checked. BOOSTD does not report a change as done until the check has confirmed it; if the check fails, the change is rolled back and you are told.

Change history
Every change is written down, checked, and reversible
Nothing BOOSTD does is hidden. Each change has a record: when it happened, what changed, why, the evidence behind it, the page before and after, who approved it (you, a colleague, or the mode you chose), how it was checked, what it led to, and a one-step way to reverse it.
Recommendations and completed work are kept apart, so you never have to wonder whether something was proposed or actually done. A change only moves into the completed column once its check has passed.
Before anything is written to your site, the previous version is saved. That is what makes rollback a single step rather than a support ticket, and it is why a change BOOSTD cannot reverse is treated as critical and brought to you first.

When a check fails
What happens when a change does not land cleanly
After every change BOOSTD checks the page loads, the change is there, the canonical and indexing settings are right, the key links work and nothing else visibly broke. These are the failures it acts on.
- The page starts returning errors after the change
- The change is rolled back automatically, the page is checked again, and you are told what happened. A page that is down costs you enquiries by the hour, so this does not wait for anyone to read a report.
- A canonical tag or noindex setting ends up wrong
- Rolled back automatically. A wrong indexing setting can take a page out of Google quietly, which is exactly the kind of mistake nobody notices until the traffic has gone, so it is treated as a failure rather than a warning.
- An enquiry form or critical element stops working
- Rolled back automatically. Protected flows such as forms and checkout are smoke-tested after changes on the pages around them, because the most expensive regression is the one that stops customers reaching you.
- You simply do not like a change
- Roll it back yourself from the change history, in one step, whether or not any check failed. You do not need a reason, and you do not need to contact anyone.
Plans and budgets
BOOSTD finds everything, and your plan decides how much it does
Discovery is broad. Execution runs within your plan and its budget, and BOOSTD never goes over either without telling you. Each opportunity is shown in one of four states.
Included
The work is part of your plan and there is capacity for it. Depending on your mode it runs, or it arrives ready for your approval.
Capacity full
Your plan covers this kind of work, but its active capacity is in use. You can swap it for something queued, leave it queued, or move up a plan.
Requires an add-on
Some work has real outside costs, such as specialist data or outreach. BOOSTD explains what the add-on covers before asking, and nothing starts until you agree.
Requires a higher plan
The opportunity is shown with a plain comparison of what the next plan would add. BOOSTD will not invent small opportunities to push an upgrade.
No surprises
Plans are written in capacities you can understand, not credits
A plan tells you what it covers in plain terms: how many websites, locations and markets, how many priority services and competitors, and how deep the monitoring goes. You are not asked to budget in tokens, crawl units or provider requests; BOOSTD meters those internally so that you do not have to.
When a budget runs low, BOOSTD slows down before it stops: it checks less often, samples instead of checking everything, and queues lower-priority work, while keeping the monitoring that catches real problems. It never cuts corners on security, on your data or on the checks above to stay within budget.
Money you spend on advertising is yours, kept separate from what BOOSTD spends running your plan, and spend limits are set by you.

Straight answers before you run the scan
Can I use BOOSTD like this today?
Partly. BOOSTD is in early access: the self-serve Growth Scan, trial and plans are opening in stages, and until each one opens its page says so. The rules on this page are the rules the work already runs by with our team.
If you want to start now, the free audit is run by a person and covers the same ground as the scan. When the self-serve scan and trial open, the buttons on this page lead straight to them.
Will BOOSTD change my website during the 7-day trial?
No. During the trial BOOSTD reads and recommends; it does not edit your website, contact anyone on your behalf or send anything to your customers. That is a fixed rule of the trial, not a setting.
You see the proposed changes as a preview, so you can judge the work before any of it could run. If you stop at the end of the trial there is nothing to undo, because nothing was changed.
Do I need a card to start the trial?
As currently planned, yes: you choose the plan you intend to use and add a card before the trial starts. The billing terms, including when the first charge would happen and how to cancel before it, are shown before you enter one.
The Free Growth Scan needs no card and no plan.
Which automation mode should I choose?
Most businesses should start on Safe Autopilot, which is the recommended default. Low-risk, one-step-reversible work such as metadata, alt text and structured data runs on its own, and anything material comes to you first.
Choose Approval Mode if you want to see everything before it happens. Full Autopilot suits teams that have written their rules down and want BOOSTD to act broadly within them. You can change mode at any time, and in every mode the protected pages stay protected.
Can BOOSTD touch my checkout, login or legal pages?
Not by default, in any mode. Checkout, login and account pages, payment and authentication flows, legal, privacy and terms pages and regulatory disclosures are protected from the start, and you can add any page you like to that list.
Changes to them are treated as critical, alongside deleting pages, bulk redirects, domain and DNS changes and large navigation changes. Critical actions need an explicit approval from you however confident the system is.
What happens if a change breaks something?
Every change is checked after it goes live, and if a check fails it is reversed. Automatic rollback covers a page that starts returning errors, a missing critical element, a wrong canonical or noindex, a broken enquiry form and a severe visual change.
The record shows what happened and what was reversed, and you can roll back any change yourself from its history in one step, whether or not a check failed.
Will BOOSTD go over the plan I pay for?
No. Work that would exceed your plan or its budget stops rather than running on and billing you later; there are no silent overages. If an opportunity is worth doing and your plan is full, BOOSTD shows it and says what it would take — swap it for something queued, add an add-on or move up a plan.
Money you spend on ads is yours and is kept separate from BOOSTD’s own running costs. Spend limits are yours to set.
Does BOOSTD guarantee rankings or traffic?
No. Nobody controls Google or the AI assistants, so nobody can honestly promise a ranking. An opportunity shown in a scan is an estimate, not a result.
What is promised is how the work is done: each change is logged with its reason and evidence, checked after it ships, reversible, and measured against what happened before it.
