New website
A new website for SEO, when your current one holds you back
Some websites cannot be fixed into ranking: they are too slow, not built for phones, or locked into a platform that fights every change. We build you a new one in Next.js, fast and set up for search. A local website of up to 25 pages is $1,500 paid upfront, or spread it out.

Why the website matters
Search work cannot outrun a website that holds it back
Google sends people to pages that answer their question and load quickly on a phone. If your site is slow, hard to use on a small screen, or built so that every improvement is a fight, the rest of your SEO has to pull that weight too.
Think of it like trying to win a race with a flat tyre. You can hire the best driver and the best pit crew, but until the tyre is changed you will not keep up. Better content and more links help, but they cannot make a slow, fragile site fast.
A new website changes the tyre. It does not win the race on its own, but it means the work you put into search finally counts.
Signs
Signs your website is holding you back
These are the problems the free checkup measures that are hard or costly to fix on an existing site.
- Pages take more than a few seconds to appear on a phone
- Many visitors give up before the page appears, and Google uses page experience as one of its signals. Slow sites are often slow because of how they were built, not because of one big image.
- You have to pinch and zoom to read it on a phone
- Google looks at the phone version of your site first. A site that was never built for phones starts every search behind sites that were.
- Your builder or theme will not let you change what matters
- Some platforms lock page addresses, titles, headings or structured data. When the fixes your SEO needs are not allowed, the work stalls.
- Adding a page for a new service or town takes weeks
- Ranking for more searches means more good pages. If each new page needs a developer and breaks the layout, you will never build enough of them.
- Visitors arrive but do not call, book or fill in the form
- A confusing layout, a hidden phone number or a form that fails on a phone wastes the visitors search brings in.
- The last redesign looked new but nothing changed
- A new design on the same slow foundations, or a cheap template site, leaves you where you started. Looking new is not the same as being built to rank.

Set up for search
Clear page addresses, titles and descriptions, one main heading per page, structured data and a sitemap, all in place on day one.
Redirects that keep your rankings
Every address on your old site is mapped to its new page and permanently redirected, so the rankings you have earned move with you.

Prices
Three ways to pay, and paying upfront costs least
The same website whichever way you pay. Spreading the cost adds a small markup, so paying upfront saves $300 on a local website and $800 on a growth website against paying monthly. Prices in US dollars.
| Dimension | Local website (up to 25 pages) | Growth website (up to about 100 pages) |
|---|---|---|
| Pay upfront (cheapest) | $1,500 once | $4,000 once |

| How you buy | After your free checkup, or with an advisor | Planned with an advisor before you buy |
Bigger sites
Larger or more complex websites
Some businesses need more than 100 pages, many locations, an online shop or custom features. Custom websites are quoted by an advisor after a conversation about what you need. You get the quote in writing and nothing starts until you approve it.
Hosting & care for larger sites is $49 a month, and it is included while you pay monthly, the same as the other sizes.
Hosting & care
Hosting & care keeps the site fast and safe
A website needs looking after once it is live. Hosting & care is included while you pay monthly. If you pay upfront or split the cost, it is $29 a month for a local website and $49 a month for larger sites. It covers:
- Fast, secure hosting with an SSL certificate
- Uptime monitoring around the clock
- Security and software updates
- Daily backups kept for 30 days
Ownership
When the website becomes yours
Your domain name and your content (your words, photos and logo) are always yours, whichever way you pay. The table is about the website itself.
| Dimension | The website is yours | If you stop early |
|---|---|---|
| Pay upfront | As soon as it is paid | Nothing to stop: it is already paid for |
| Split the cost | After the last of the 12 monthly payments | Pay the remaining payments and keep it, or the site is taken down |
| Pay monthly | After 12 paid months | Buy out the remaining balance and keep it, or the site is taken down |
Our rules
What we will and will not do
We will
- Tell you when fixing your current site is enough
- Redirect every old address and check each one at launch
- Launch only after you approve the site
- Keep a way to roll back to the old site on launch day
- Keep your domain, email and content yours
We will not
- Promise rankings, traffic or a position on Google
- Sell you a new site when a fix would do
- Lock you in: once the site is yours you can move it
- Add charges that are not in your written agreement
Questions
New website questions
Does a new website improve SEO?
Only if it fixes what was holding the old one back. A faster site that works well on phones, lets every page have its own clear title and address, and keeps the rankings you have through redirects gives the rest of your SEO a better base. A new look on the same foundations does not.
A new site does not rank on its own: Google still has to find and re-read it, and you still need pages for what customers search, reviews and mentions from other sites.
Do I own the website?
Yes. If you pay upfront, it is yours once it is paid. If you split the cost, it is yours after the last of the 12 monthly payments. If you pay monthly, it becomes yours after 12 paid months.
Your domain name and everything you wrote or supplied (text, photos, logo) are always yours, whichever way you pay.
What happens if I stop paying monthly before the site is mine?
You have two choices. You can buy out what is left of the 12-month agreement, and the site is yours. Or you can stop, and the site is taken down. Nothing extra is added on top of the balance.
Your domain and your content stay yours either way, so you can take them to another site.
Will my Google rankings drop when the new site goes live?
We work hard to stop that. Before launch we list every address your current site has, map each one to its new page and set up permanent redirects. On launch day we check every redirect works.
A short wobble while Google re-reads the site is normal, and no one can promise a position on Google. If something goes wrong, we can roll back to the old site while we fix it.
Can I keep my domain name and my email?
Yes. The new site goes live on the domain you already have. We only change the records that point the website to its new home, and we leave your email records alone, so your email keeps working.
Why do you build in Next.js?
Next.js is a modern way to build websites that sends visitors ready-made pages, so they load quickly, even on a phone. It gives us full control over titles, page addresses, structured data and redirects, which page builders often restrict.
You do not need to learn it. You ask for changes and we make them, and we keep the software up to date as part of hosting & care.
Can you not just fix the site I have?
Often, yes, and then we will say so. Missing titles, descriptions or a sitemap are fixed on the site you have with an SEO plan, and the free checkup shows them.
We recommend a new website only when the problems are in the foundations: the site is slow on phones, built on a platform that blocks fixes, or put together so that every change breaks something else. Patching that is like trying to win a race with a flat tyre.
Do I need an SEO plan as well?
You do not have to have one. The new site launches set up for search: fast, built for phones, with clean addresses, structured data and a sitemap.
Ranking also needs regular work: new pages for what your customers search, links from other websites, your Google Business Profile and reviews. That is what the SEO plans on the pricing page do, and a well-built site makes that work count for more.
How long does it take?
A local website usually takes about 4 weeks from discovery to launch, and a growth website about 8 weeks. The biggest variable is how quickly we get your content and your approval.
Nothing goes live until you have approved it, so the date is always one you agreed.
What does a larger or more complex website cost?
A growth website of up to about 100 pages is $4,000 paid upfront, and we plan it with you before you buy, so the scope is clear. Anything bigger, such as many locations, an online shop or custom features, is quoted by an advisor.
Every quote is written down and approved by you before any work starts.
What is hosting & care, and do I have to pay for it?
Hosting & care is what keeps the site running: hosting, uptime monitoring, security and software updates, and daily backups. It is included while you pay monthly. If you pay upfront or split the cost, it is $29 a month for a local website and $49 a month for larger sites.
Once the site is yours you can keep hosting & care with us, or move the site to another host.
Find out if your website is holding you back
The free checkup reads your site and shows what is slow, missing or broken. If a new site is the answer, it says why. If it is not, you will know what to fix instead.
