Websites for breweries, wineries and distilleries
Brewery and winery website design that fills the tasting room
Brewery, winery and distillery website design for producers with a taproom, tasting room or shop: a legal-age check that opens the site, tasting and tour bookings, a bottle shop that ships only where you hold the permits, a wine club portal, and the responsible-advertiser lines your regulator expects.
- Website from $150/month, yours after 12 payments
- SEO plans from $149/month
The short answer
What should a brewery, winery or distillery website include?
It should confirm the visitor is of legal drinking age, then make the visit easy: hours, tasting or tour bookings, and what is pouring now. If you sell online it should ship only to places your permits cover, with an adult signature. Every page should name the responsible producer and, for spirits, the class and alcohol content, without targeting anyone under age.

Built in
What every brewery, winery or distillery website includes
A legal-age check that opens the site
Visitors confirm they are of legal drinking age for where they are, 18, 19 or 21, before the site opens, and the answer lasts only for the visit. It is the step most codes and platforms look for when they ask producers to keep under-age audiences out.
Tasting and tour bookings
Book a tasting, a brewhouse tour or a private room by date and party size, with the age rule stated for every guest and alcohol-free options for drivers. Bookings send to any system that accepts them by email, webhook or API; a direct connection to your reservation or ticketing platform is scoped with an advisor and quoted.
A bottle shop that respects permits
The ship-to state or province is asked first and checked against the permits you hold, and anywhere else is offered pickup or a local store instead. Every box ships with an adult signature, and the shop never implies it can send where it cannot.
Responsible-advertiser lines built in
Each product page names the producer and its town, and spirits carry class, type and alcohol content as the label states, the details US rules ask advertising to include. The same lines feed the snippets used in social posts, so nothing goes out without them.
What is pouring now
A tap list or tasting menu that staff update from a phone, with style and alcohol content on each line. It is the page regulars check before they visit, and it keeps the taproom’s Google listing honest.
Club members served online
Wine and spirits clubs get a member area to see the next shipment, skip, swap or switch to pickup. It cuts the calls a tasting room fields every shipment month and keeps members longer.
Content that sells the place, not a party
Harvest notes, how it is made, the people who make it and the room you will sit in. It meets the codes on immoderate drinking and youth appeal, and it is the content people search for when they plan a visit.
Compliance
The rules for breweries, wineries and distilleries, built in
Producers may advertise, but under codes that reach the website: mandatory statements, legal-age audiences and no youth appeal. These are the rules we design around in the US, Ontario, Canada and the UK, plus Meta’s alcohol policy, each linked to the body that sets it.
Sources gathered October 1, 2026. This is how our designs handle these rules, not legal advice: rules change and differ by province and state, so your liquor regulator, the TTB or your lawyer has the final word, and you approve every page before it goes live.
- US
Mandatory statements in every advertisement
TTB rules require alcohol advertising to name the responsible advertiser, by name and city and state or other contact details, with the class designation for malt beverages and, for spirits, the class and type and the alcohol content. The designs put the producer line in every footer and the label facts on every product.

- US
Social posts count as advertising
TTB Industry Circular 2024-1 says the federal advertising rules apply to ads in any medium, social media included, so posts need the mandatory statements such as the responsible advertiser’s name. It accepts a clearly labelled link that leads straight to that information. Each design gives every product a page with the producer line and product facts, ready to be that link.

The Registrar’s advertising guidelines for manufacturers
The AGCO’s guidelines apply to brewery, winery and distillery licence holders: no medium aimed at people under the legal drinking age, and no link between drinking and driving or any activity needing care and skill. The designs show no vehicles, sports or risky activity near a product, and nothing styled for young people.

- Ontario
Delivery from your retail store, to adults only
An Ontario manufacturer may deliver from its own retail store without a separate delivery endorsement, or use a licensed delivery service, and liquor may not be delivered to anyone under 19, with ID checked where age is in doubt. The Ontario shop asks for the delivery address and states the ID rule at checkout.
- Canada
The broadcast code, as a test for video
The CRTC code covers broadcast advertising, not websites, but its tests are a fair yardstick for video a producer posts: nothing aimed at minors or using youth symbols, nothing implying alcohol is essential to enjoyment, no immoderate drinking and no scenes of consumption tied to driving. The designs apply it to any video they hold.
CRTC — Code for broadcast advertising of alcoholic beverages
- UK
Promotion only to over-18s, with no particular appeal to under-18s
The Portman Group’s Code of Practice on the Naming, Packaging and Promotion of Alcoholic Drinks expects promotion to reach only people aged 18 and over and to have no particular appeal to under-18s. UK versions keep the age check, avoid cartoon or youth styling and keep merchandise away from children’s products.
- Meta
Alcohol ads are allowed, within local law and age limits
Meta allows alcohol ads that follow local laws and industry codes, with age and country targeting that matches them and never below 18. Unlike cannabis or vapes, a producer can advertise, so the site gives every ad a landing page that already carries the age check and producer line.

Questions
Breweries, wineries and distilleries: common questions
- How much does a brewery, winery or distillery website cost?
- A brewery, winery or distillery website of up to 25 pages is $1,500 paid upfront, or $150 a month for 12 months, and it is yours after the 12th payment. A larger site of up to about 100 pages is $4,000, or $400 a month. Hosting and care is $29 or $49 a month. Prices are in US dollars.
- Does a winery or brewery website need an age verification page?
- It is the expected practice. Industry codes and platforms ask producers to keep under-age audiences away from their promotion, the US minimum is 21, and Canadian provinces set 18 or 19. Our check asks once per visit, before the site opens, and only lets in people who say they are of age where they are.Search engines can still read your pages, so a properly built age check does not hide the site from Google.
- Can we ship wine, beer or spirits to customers from the website?
- Only where you hold the permits, and the shop is built around that. It asks for the ship-to state or province first, checks it against the list you give us, and offers pickup or a local stockist anywhere else. Every shipment needs an adult signature, and the rules for beer and spirits are usually tighter than for wine.Direct-shipping law differs from state to state, so the permit list is yours and your lawyer’s to confirm; the site enforces it.
- Can visitors book tastings and tours on the website?
- Yes. Visitors choose a date, a party size and a tasting or tour, with the legal-age rule stated for every guest and alcohol-free options for drivers. Bookings go to your calendar or reservation system by email, webhook or API, and a direct connection to a particular platform is scoped with an advisor and quoted first.
- Can you build a wine club app or member portal?
- Yes, as a member area or an app. Members see the next shipment, skip or swap bottles, switch to pickup at the tasting room and update their address, which is checked against the states you may ship to. It connects to your club or ecommerce software by API, and that connection is scoped and quoted before work starts.
- Will my brewery, winery or distillery website rank on Google?
- It launches with the technical SEO done: fast pages, clean structure, structured data, local pages and redirects from your old site. To keep climbing, a BOOSTD SEO plan from $149 a month runs 262 checks on your site every week, fixes what is safe to fix and gets the rest ready for your OK.No one can promise a position on Google, and we never do. Google warns businesses about anyone who does.
- How long does a brewery, winery or distillery website take to build?
- About 4 weeks for a local site and about 8 weeks for a larger one, counted from the day we have your content, logo, photos and licence details. A larger site is planned with an advisor first, so its timeline is confirmed in writing before any work starts. You try the age check, a tasting booking and a blocked shipment before launch, and nothing goes live until you approve it.
- Can I get one of these brewery, winery and distillery website designs?
- Yes. Each is a complete, ready-to-launch website design BOOSTD made for breweries, wineries and distilleries. Pick one and we make it yours, with your name, colours, photos, content and the licence or compliance details your industry expects, from $150 a month and yours after 12 payments.Approved client sites are shown with a “Client work” tag, and only with the client’s written permission.
