Websites for pest control companies
Pest control website design that books plans and routes every pest
Websites for pest control companies: quarterly protection plans that book online, a “what are you seeing?” identifier that routes wasps, rodents, termites and bed bugs to the right service, applicator licences shown plainly, and treatment copy written without the “safe” and “non-toxic” claims that pesticide rules prohibit.

- SEO plans from $149/month
The short answer
What should a pest control website include?
A pest control website should help a visitor identify the pest, book an inspection or a recurring protection plan online, and reach a person fast for stinging insects or rodents indoors. It should show the business and applicator licence numbers, describe treatments accurately without “safe” or “non-toxic” claims, and have pages for each pest and area you serve.

What every pest control company website includes
Protection plans that book themselves
Quarterly and bi-monthly plans sell online: the visitor books the first inspection, the technician sets the visit dates, and every sign-up reaches your routing software or inbox with the address and the pests reported.
A pest identifier that routes the lead
A short “what are you seeing?” flow sends ants, rodents, termites, bed bugs and stinging insects to their own page and their own booking, so a termite swarmer does not land in the same queue as a spider call.
An urgent line for nests and rodents
When you take same-day calls, the site leads with the number and a short triage list; when the schedule is full, it offers the next window, so nobody is told a technician is coming when one is not.
Treatment copy written to the rules
Service pages describe what you inspect, what you apply and how, without the “safe”, “non-toxic” or “EPA approved” wording pesticide rules prohibit, and every product claim stays within the label.
Licences matched to services
The business licence and each technician’s applicator categories are entered once; services appear only where a category is held, and the numbers show in the footer, on forms and on service reports.
Pest-by-season pages
Pages go live ahead of each pest’s season (ants and termite swarms in spring, wasps in summer, rodents in autumn), written from what your technicians see in your towns, so they are indexed before the calls start.
Found locally
How pest control companies get found in the areas they serve
Google runs the Business Profile and Local Services Ads programmes and decides who qualifies. We build the site and the area pages to Google’s rules and keep your profile accurate. Badges such as Google Verified (which replaced Google Guaranteed and Google Screened in 2025) are Google’s to grant, not ours.
- 01
Google Business Profile
Primary category “Pest control service”, with each pest and treatment listed as a service, and real photos of technicians and vehicles. As a service-area business, hide the office address unless customers visit it.
- 02
Local Services Ads
Pest control is offered as a Local Services Ads category in many US markets: Google screens the business and may show its Google Verified badge, and you pay per lead. You apply to Google; the site is where those leads check your licences.
- 03
Town pages, not doorway pages
Google treats near-identical city pages as doorway abuse. Each town page carries its own pests, housing types and seasons, and the technician who covers it, or it is not published.
- 04
Seasonal demand, planned ahead
Pest searches rise with the weather: ant and termite pages in early spring, wasp pages in early summer, rodent pages before the first cold nights. Each goes live weeks ahead, and call tracking shows which season paid.
Compliance
The rules for pest control companies, handled in the design
Pest control advertising is regulated twice over: by pesticide labelling rules that limit what may be said about treatments, and by state and provincial licensing that limits which services may be advertised at all. These are the rules the designs follow.
Sources gathered October 1, 2026. This is how our designs handle these rules, not legal advice: rules change and differ by province and state, so your state pest control regulator, provincial ministry or lawyer has the final word, and you approve every page before it goes live.
- US
No “safe”, “non-toxic” or “harmless” pesticide claims
Federal pesticide labelling rules (40 CFR 156.10) prohibit safety claims such as “safe”, “nonpoisonous”, “harmless” or “nontoxic to humans and pets”, even with “when used as directed”, and EPA says this reaches websites and promotional material. Service pages describe what is done and how, and never claim a treatment is safe.
- California
No “EPA approved” or Board-approved claims
California’s structural pest control regulations (16 CCR 1999.5), as the Board’s published Act summarises them, ban misleading pest-control advertising, including “EPA approved”, “EPA registered” or “approved by the Structural Pest Control Board”. The site never uses that wording, and the business name shown is the Board-approved one.
California Structural Pest Control Board — Structural Pest Control Act and regulations
- Texas
Licensed before advertising
The Texas Department of Agriculture says a business may not advertise pest control until it holds a structural pest control business licence and a certified applicator in each category it advertises, and the TPCL number goes on vehicles. Services appear only for licensed categories, and the TPCL number is shown site-wide.

- Florida
Advertise only licensed categories
Florida’s pest control law says soliciting or advertising pest control is unlawful without a chapter 482 licence, and advertising a category the business is not licensed for can be grounds for discipline. Service pages follow the licensed categories, and the business licence number is shown as a best practice.
- Ontario
Exterminator and operator licences
Ontario requires an exterminator licence to apply pesticides commercially on property you do not own, and an operator licence to run an extermination business. Ontario sites advertise pesticide application only when the client holds the matching structural or land licences.
- US
“Natural”, “green” and “eco-friendly” wording
EPA’s label review policy says “natural” is not allowed on registered pesticide labelling and does not accept claims that a pesticide is safe or “safer”; the FTC’s Green Guides warn about unqualified green claims. Low-impact or IPM programmes are described by their methods (inspection, exclusion, targeted baits), not as green.

Questions
Pest control companies: common questions
- How much does a pest control website cost?
- A pest control website of up to 25 pages is $1,500 paid upfront, or $150 a month for 12 months, and it is yours after the 12th payment. A larger site of up to about 100 pages is $4,000, or $400 a month. Hosting and care is $29 or $49 a month. Prices are in US dollars.Routing software, call tracking and Local Services Ads are billed by their own providers.
- Can I say my pest treatments are safe for children and pets?
- No. Federal pesticide labelling rules prohibit claims such as “safe”, “harmless” or “nontoxic to humans and pets”, even with “when used as directed”, and EPA says that reaches websites. We write treatment pages around what you inspect, what you apply and the precautions your technicians take instead.
- Can customers book a pest control plan online?
- Yes. The visitor books a first inspection window, the technician confirms what they found and sets the visit dates, and the plan’s year of visits is shown before sign-up. Each booking reaches your routing software or inbox, and reminder texts are sent only with the customer’s recorded consent.
- Which licence numbers belong on a pest control website?
- Your business licence number and the categories your applicators are certified in, in the footer, on forms and on service reports. Texas says licensing must come before any pest control advertising, and Florida treats advertising an unlicensed category as grounds for discipline, so services appear only where a category is held.
- How does the site handle wasp nests and rodents that cannot wait?
- With an urgent line you can switch on: the number and a short “what are you dealing with?” list lead the page, and the technician gives a visit window on the call. When the day is full, the site offers the next window instead, so nobody is promised a visit that cannot happen.
- Will my pest control company website rank on Google?
- It launches with the technical SEO done: fast pages, clean structure, structured data, local pages and redirects from your old site. To keep climbing, a BOOSTD SEO plan from $149 a month runs 262 checks on your site every week, fixes what is safe to fix and gets the rest ready for your OK.No one can promise a position on Google, and we never do. Google warns businesses about anyone who does.
- How long does a pest control website take to build?
- About 4 weeks for a local site and about 8 weeks for a larger one, counted from the day we have your content, logo, photos and licence details. A larger site is planned with an advisor first, so its timeline is confirmed in writing before any work starts.Plan it for winter, so pest-by-season pages are live before spring swarms.
- Can I get one of these pest control website designs?
- Yes. Each is a complete, ready-to-launch website design BOOSTD made for pest control companies. Pick one and we make it yours, with your name, colours, photos, content and the licence or compliance details your industry expects, from $150 a month and yours after 12 payments.Approved client sites are shown with a “Client work” tag, and only with the client’s written permission.
