Websites for flooring companies
Flooring company website design that shows the room, not the swatch
Websites for flooring companies and installers: before-and-after rooms from your own jobs, in-home measure bookings, a catalogue of the floors you actually carry, and product claims about formaldehyde, VOCs and “eco” surfaces that say exactly what the label supports and nothing more.
- Website from $150/month, yours after 12 payments
- SEO plans from $149/month
The short answer
What should a flooring company website include?
A flooring website needs photos of rooms you have finished, a way to book an in-home measure or showroom visit, and a catalogue of the hardwood, vinyl, laminate, carpet and tile you carry. Product claims must match the label: TSCA Title VI compliant is not formaldehyde-free. It should explain warranties, subfloor prep and financing plainly.

Built in
What every flooring contractor website includes
Rooms, not swatches
Project pages show finished rooms from your own jobs with the product, the prep and the trim used, so a homeowner sees a floor in a real house rather than a 10-centimetre sample on a white background.
Measure visits booked online
Homeowners pick an in-home measure slot and name the rooms, so the estimator arrives with matching samples and a moisture meter, and the office stops playing phone tag.
A catalogue of what you really carry
Each floor in your range gets a card with its material, rooms it suits, a link to the maker’s warranty and, for composite-wood products, the label information buyers may ask for.
Product claims that match the label
Wording about formaldehyde, VOCs, recycled content or “eco” floors is drawn from the product’s own label or data sheet and qualified, so nothing says more than the maker can back up.
Subfloor and moisture explained
Short pages on why the subfloor, slab moisture and levelling matter, so buyers understand the prep line on your quote instead of seeing it as padding.
Showroom and in-home paths
Visitors who want to touch boards see showroom hours and directions; visitors who want you to come to them see measure slots. Each path is tracked, so you know which one sells.
Found locally
How flooring companies get found in the areas they serve
Google runs the Business Profile and Local Services Ads programmes and decides who qualifies. We build the site and the area pages to Google’s rules and keep your profile accurate. Badges such as Google Verified (which replaced Google Guaranteed and Google Screened in 2025) are Google’s to grant, not ours.
- 01
Google Business Profile
Primary category “Flooring contractor” for installers, or “Flooring store” for a showroom that customers visit, with the other added as secondary only if true. Showroom hours must match the door; install-only firms hide the address.
- 02
Local Services Ads
Where Google offers Local Services Ads for flooring in your market, Google runs its own screening and may show its Google Verified badge; you apply to Google directly. Flooring is not on Google’s advanced-verification list for ads, which names locksmiths and garage door services.
- 03
Area pages, not doorway pages
Google treats near-identical town pages as doorway abuse. Each area page shows floors installed there, the housing it has and any condo or HOA rules on underlay, or it is not published.
- 04
Product searches to showroom visits
People search for a material, a colour or a maker before they search for an installer. Catalogue pages that answer those searches, with showroom hours beside them, turn product research into visits.
Compliance
The rules for flooring companies, handled in the design
Flooring marketing is mostly product claims and paperwork: formaldehyde labels, environmental wording, warranties, older-home rules and how in-home sales are cancelled. These are the rules the designs are built around.
Sources gathered October 1, 2026. This is how our designs handle these rules, not legal advice: rules change and differ by province and state, so your licensing office, product suppliers or lawyer has the final word, and you approve every page before it goes live.
- US
Composite-wood labels: TSCA Title VI
EPA’s formaldehyde rule under TSCA Title VI requires composite-wood panels and finished goods, such as laminate or engineered floors with HDF or MDF cores, to carry “TSCA Title VI compliant” or “certified” labels. The site uses that wording only where it is true and never turns it into “formaldehyde-free”.
- US
No unqualified “eco” or “non-toxic” floors
Flooring is full of “eco” labels, and the FTC’s Green Guides treat unqualified words like green or sustainable as near impossible to prove unless a specific benefit is named; “non-toxic” and “free of” claims need evidence too. Product cards state the specific, labelled benefit or leave the claim out.
- US
Lead-safe work in pre-1978 homes
Lifting old floors can disturb lead paint: EPA’s RRP rule bars uncertified firms from doing, offering or advertising covered work in homes built before 1978, and removing painted baseboards or trim can bring a flooring job within it. Older-home pages mention lead-safe work only for certified firms.

- US
Written product warranties before purchase
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, written warranties on consumer products may need to be labelled “Full” or “Limited” and made available before sale. Where a floor carries a maker’s warranty, the product card links the full terms, and workmanship promises are described separately.
- US
Financing ads and trigger terms
A showroom banner promising a floor for a set sum each month is a triggering term under Regulation Z, and the ad then owes the reader the APR and the rest of the credit terms. Showroom financing panels say the lender provides terms in writing, subject to approval, and show no example payment.
- Ontario
Ten days to cancel an agreement signed at home
Ontario says direct agreements made in person away from the business, such as a flooring contract signed during an in-home measure, carry a 10-day cooling-off period, and cancelling also cancels related financing. Ontario quote pages explain the right rather than pressing for a signature on the spot.

Questions
Flooring companies: common questions
- How much does a flooring company website cost?
- A flooring website of up to 25 pages is $1,500 paid upfront, or $150 a month for 12 months, and it is yours after the 12th payment. A larger site of up to about 100 pages is $4,000, or $400 a month. Hosting and care is $29 or $49 a month. Prices are in US dollars.Booking tools, call tracking numbers and any paid ads are billed by their providers, not by us.
- Can customers book a flooring measure online?
- Yes. Homeowners pick an in-home measure slot from the windows you offer and list the rooms, so the estimator arrives with the right samples and a moisture meter. Each booking reaches your inbox or scheduling software for the office to confirm, with a text to the customer.
- Can my flooring website say products are formaldehyde-free or eco-friendly?
- Only what the label or data sheet supports. Composite-wood floors carry TSCA Title VI labels, which is not the same as formaldehyde-free. The FTC’s Green Guides say broad “eco-friendly” or “non-toxic” claims need qualifying with a specific, substantiated benefit, so product cards say exactly that and no more.
- Should a flooring website have a product catalogue?
- If you carry a range, yes. Each floor gets a card with its material, the rooms it suits, the maker’s warranty link and samples to order. Buyers research materials before they choose an installer, so a catalogue of your own range catches them earlier than a list of services does.
- Do flooring jobs in older homes need special wording?
- Sometimes. Removing painted baseboards or trim in a home built before 1978 can bring a job under EPA’s Renovation, Repair and Painting rule, which says uncertified firms may not offer that work. If you are certified, older-home pages say so; if not, they do not offer it.
- Will my flooring contractor website rank on Google?
- It launches with the technical SEO done: fast pages, clean structure, structured data, local pages and redirects from your old site. To keep climbing, a BOOSTD SEO plan from $149 a month runs 262 checks on your site every week, fixes what is safe to fix and gets the rest ready for your OK.No one can promise a position on Google, and we never do. Google warns businesses about anyone who does.
- How long does a flooring website take to build?
- About 4 weeks for a local site and about 8 weeks for a larger one, counted from the day we have your content, logo, photos and licence details. A larger site is planned with an advisor first, so its timeline is confirmed in writing before any work starts.Large catalogues can launch with your core range first and grow product by product afterwards.
- Can I get one of these flooring website designs?
- Yes. Each is a complete, ready-to-launch website design BOOSTD made for flooring companies. Pick one and we make it yours, with your name, colours, photos, content and the licence or compliance details your industry expects, from $150 a month and yours after 12 payments.Approved client sites are shown with a “Client work” tag, and only with the client’s written permission.
